(ANSA) – BEIJING, JULY 7 – Earthquake of a preliminary magnitude of 6
hit eastern Japan in the evening, with epicenter in the
Chiba Prefecture, very close to the capital Tokyo.
The Japanese Meteorological Agency, which measured the intensity
from the earthquake in 5- on the maximum Japanese detection scale of
7 levels, did not launch tsunami warning.
For the moment, there is not, according to local media,
damage to people or things, while the earthquake has been warned
very clearly across the plain of Kanto, the great region
subway that has Tokyo as center.
