Two buildings collapsed this morning in the center of Marseille: that is what the French media announced, indicating that research was underway to find victims or survivors. At present, reports the Afp, there are two injured. Neither is serious. In a tweet, the prefecture of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region indicates that the collapsed buildings – of two floors – are located rue d'Aubagne at numbers 63 and 65, in the first arrondissement of Marseille. For the moment, there is no information on possible victims. Local authorities urge citizens to "avoid the sector" and give "relief priority".

According to Franceinfo Sabine Bernasconi, mayor of the 1st and 7th districts of Marseille, the buildings were considered "dangerous" two weeks ago. They had to be empty when they collapsed.
