An African-American woman escalated the base of the Statue of Liberty, to protest against the Trump administration's policy: he asked that all migrant children be released, referring to the illegal immigrant children separated from their parents at the Mexican border.
Before arresting him, the police negotiated for hours to make her leave.
Authorities evacuated Liberty Island and the Emergency Department Unit of the New York Police Department arrived.
