Marco Cantù, 57 years old, residing in Dosolo in the province of Mantua, had left Pbado Fedaia: in the race he had felt bad at the height of the wall of Porta Vescovo and had collapsed to the ground. Coincidentally shortly after him, a daughter belonging to the Alpine Rescue had it immediately reached and, having evaluated the conditions, had called 118.

But when the situation got worse, the rescuer began practicing resuscitation maneuvers with other people who had come, as long as the AIut Alpine Dolomites helicopter did not come into operation. had not arrived.
