Five people were injured today in the army of San Firmino and at least one of the "corredores" was blocked by one of the huge bulls who took part this morning traditional festival of Pamplona. Red Cross spokesman José Aldaba said the ambulances transported the injured to the hospital a few minutes after the end of the race. The rain fell before the "departure" made the 850 meters of the route particularly slippery, to such an extent that many other competitors were overtaken by the bulls but did not report any serious injuries.
