Italy is becoming more renewable, clean energy in all municipalities – Green Economy

ROME – Energy Italy is more and more renewable. In fact, in all municipalities, there is at least one clean energy plant. More than 3,000 autonomous people for electrical needs; 37 are 100% renewable thanks to self-production; in the photovoltaic head with 20 gigawatt (GW). Our country – we explain – leaps forward "in 10 years" (when there were 356 renewable municipalities): production increased by "more than 50 TWh (Terawattora), with a contribution of renewable energies pbaded from 15 to 34, 4% compared to the consumption of electricity and from 7 to 17.7% of the total consumption ".

According to the report, "Lombardy is the region with the largest number of renewable power plants in Italy with 7,989 MW installed (hydroelectricity), while Puglia is the preferred region for new renewable energies (solar and wind, 5 056 MW out of 5,388 MW total) ".
