A misfortune happened in Milan, because a Labrador slipped into an old artifact, a sort of flooded concrete tank, which could no longer lift. Finally, the dog was saved by the firefighters.

This is what happened in Baranzate di Bollate (Milan) when the animal was found inside the building, filled with rainwater, in a green area near Via Monte Aprica. The divers also intervened on site and finally managed to tie the dog with ropes and take it out. The cagnone, black, soaked and cold but in good condition, was returned to the owners.

In 2017, firefighters from the Milan Provincial Command made 991 animal rescue interventions. The best known case is that of the dog Rocky, a two-year-old Shih Tzu, found alive after nearly a week spent in the rubble of the building that collapsed on March 31st in Rescaldina (Milan).
