Nice remembers the victims of the massacre 14/7 – Ultima Ora

(ANSA) – PARIS, JULY 14 – Exactly two years after the mbadacre
claimed by Isis, the city of Nice commemorates today
victims of the terrorist attacks that caused the death of
86 people and 450 wounded on the Promenade des Anglais, during the
National holiday of July 14, 2016. That night, during the
fireworks which, like every year, close the celebrations
of the taking of the Bastille of 1789, the terrorist Mohamed
Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, a 31-year-old Tunisian, overwhelmed on board
a truck the crowd gathered on the famous Lungomare, before
come overthrown by the police. Today, from 4.30 pm, the families
victims and personalities of the political and institutional world
they gather for a military and air parade for the
commemorations of July 14th. A free ceremony will follow
the dead, in the presence of Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, before the
Tonight concert with the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra.
The balloons will be allowed to fly in the sky and 86 packages
the lights will close the ceremony on the Promenade des Anglais
