(ANSA) – TOKYO, JULY 8 – The Foreign Ministers of Japan,
South Korea and the United States will continue to coordinate
efforts to clarify the process
denuclearization of Pyongyang. That's the right message
hope that comes from the second trilateral meeting between the parties
in less than a month, currently underway in Tokyo, and coincides with
the presence of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in the
Japanese capital after the visit to North Korea.
Meanwhile, skepticism about real intentions reappears
of Pyongyang to dismantle its own missile program e
nuclear, while different interpretations circulate on the real
result of negotiations between the head of American diplomacy and
the advisers of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, after that
North Korean government agency yesterday expressed the
disappointment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, openly accusing the
United States to submit unilateral applications similar to those
bandits.
Pompey also met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe,
to which he pointed out the renewed demand by Washington
during negotiations on the issue of Japanese citizens
kidnapped by the secret services of Pyongyang. Abe also reiterated
the intention to conduct direct talks with senior management
North Koreans, despite doubts about the final achievement
of a potential summit between the parties.
