All present confirmed their support for the railway project, recognizing its strategic value for the airport and the benefits to the overall mobility of the entire territory, agreeing to the need to accelerate the process. In this regard, RFI anticipates that the preliminary design can be completed by the summer of 2019 and that the Services Conference will be convened by September 2019 to reach the final design in 2020.
At the end of the meeting, Emilio Bellingardi, Director General of Sacbo, expressed his satisfaction for the contribution of all stakeholders, sharing the utility of the project, being convinced of the need to proceed with its realization as soon as possible.
