Pomigliano, a rifleman and security guard overwhelmed and killed during the rescue for a traffic accident

Two carabinieri and a security guard were run over by a car last night in Pomigliano d'Arco, in the province of Naples, while investigations were under way for a car accident: a soldier and a security officer are dead. Another soldier is hospitalized in very serious conditions. The three were hit by a Golf led by a 26 year old who proceeded at high speed. Two other riflemen were saved by throwing themselves among the bushes on the side of the road.

The safety officer was the driver of the accident car on which investigations were ongoing. The serious accident occurred around 11 pm, along the national road "7a", near the exit of Pomigliano d'Arco: a patrol carabinieri of the company of Castello di Cisterna intervened to proceed to the rescue of a traffic accident between an Opel Zafira and a Hyundai Atos.

Shortly after, a military patrol from the Compagnia di Nola came to the rescue. When operations were nearing completion, a Golf was driven at high speed by a 26-year-old Sant 'Antimo (Naples), who overwhelmed the selected pinnates on duty at Castello di Cisterna, the deputy brigadier serving Nola and the driver . of Hyundai Atos

The latter, fifty years old, of Quadrelle (Avellino), died instantly; the note was taken at Cardarelli Hospital in Naples where he lost his life shortly thereafter; the deputy brigadier was transported to the hospital San Giovanni Bosco of Naples and hospitalized as part of a private prognosis putting his life in danger. The other two soldiers, however, survived by throwing themselves into a maquis and reported minor injuries. The Golf was seized and the driver reported for the road murder. Investigations are underway by the Nola Road Police.
