Rome, (askanews) – The former president of Catalonia, Carles Puigdemont, returned to Belgium after four months in Germany and promised to continue to defend "the just cause of the Catalan people". Already last Wednesday announcing his return to Brussels,
Puigdemont had declared that his political activity would be based in Belgium
with the will to continue the popular mandate for
an independent Catalonia and to work for the Puigdemont said at at a press conference

The former Catalan president was arrested on March 25
in Germany on a European arrest warrant issued by Spain, [19659002] revoked however in recent weeks following the decision
of the German justice to authorize extradition in
