Emma Shaw is a 40 year old mother. And when Theo, the eight-year-old son, asks her why she's crying, he's pretending to just have a cold. But the truth behind the courageous mother's tears when she looks at her baby is much more atrocious. To tell their story, it's the mirror.
Emma, 40, is battling triple negative bad cancer in Phase 4, a type that only affects 15% of bad cancer cases. His "perfect" life was broken last summer when he was diagnosed with the disease.
Since then, he has received "surprising" support from his family and friends, as well as from his 42-year-old partner, Darren Moss.
He also has "the best son of all time", Theo – he says – a talented footballer and it is with him that the woman is determined to spend as much time as possible. "I look at him and I cry – said Emma – he continues to ask me," Why are you crying mom? I continue to blame a cold, but in reality, I just want to stab cancer to death for everyone in my situation. "
It all started when we got back from vacation. In August, Emma was hospitalized for pneumonia, reports Leicestershire Live. She stayed in the hospital for three weeks. Subsequent examinations confirmed that the cancer that she thought she had conquered had spread to the liver.
Although his tumor can be treated with immunotherapy and specialized drugs, he says the treatment is not yet available in the NHS. But the brave mother is determined to fight for a living.
Now he's trying to raise funds via a JustGiving page to pay for treatment in the United Statesthat she hopes to be able to prolong her life. Last updated: November 27 at 11:03 © RESERVED COPY
