A plane that suddenly loses altitude, folds and crushes on an agricultural field, without exit for the occupants. No flame, just a powerful blow. They died like that Franco Mura, 75 years old, Padua flight instructor, architect and Roberto Vescovo, 65, engineer and university professor from Trieste, originally from Latisana. They were both expert pilots. At the time of the accident, the weather was mild and we had to wait for the technical expertise needed to establish the exact momentum of the event. The National Flight Safety Agency (ANSV) has opened a security investigation and sent an investigator on site.

A tragedy whose exact dynamics are not yet known. Only technical evaluations will likely indicate whether there is a technical fault or a pilot error. The bad weather is to be excluded because after rainy days and storms on Veneto, the sun was pale on the coast and the weather conditions were favorable.
A group of amateur cyclists and motorists crossing the area witnessed the crash and will be heard by the investigators. The victims are a pilot instructor from Padua, Franco Mura, 75 years old, from the province of Venice, and Roberto Vescovo, 65, professor of the University of Trieste. The plane had taken off from the helipad of Caorle (Venice), Brian locality, and was supposed to land there. It is unclear whether the problem occurred while Sia Marchetti was flying over or landing already. The device, uncontrollable, crashed into a vast farm field near the helipad, far from the houses, which is perhaps the pilot's extreme attempt to avoid a mbadacre. The firefighters immediately arrived on site, with two teams from Portogruaro and the Drago 81 helicopter, the Carabinieri, and the health workers Suem 118, who were however only able to note the deaths of the two single-engine occupants. They were both expert pilots. The National Agency for Flight Safety (ANSV) opened an investigation and even sent its own investigator to the site of the disaster.
