Ghz and the branch of the fixed wireless access company Tiscali, which includes infrastructure (836 towers) and 34 feast. At the same time, thanks to this agreement, Tiscali obtains complete access to the Fastweb network based on fiber (and can therefore exploit it to increase its national land coverage). The interest is therefore for both companies: the goal of Fastweb is to quickly achieve a 5g network from major Italian cities and, meanwhile, Tiscali wants to expand its ultra-high-speed fixed-line telephony offer 8 million to 18 million households
The value of the transaction is about 150 million euros, of which 100 million euros in cash (half of which in 2018 and half in 2019 ), a wholesale agreement of 4 to 5 years for a total value of 40 million euros and 10 million euros of debts to suppliers. Fastweb will finance the transaction with its own resources
