US President: "Moscow is on some aspects, Beijing is an economic competitor. The answer of the President of the Council of the EU

BRUSSELS. "We would not believe it, but the European Union is our enemy". More than China and Russia. Donald Trump, leaving Britain, throws off his mask, says what he really thinks of the Old Continent. He does it in an interview with CBS registered before flying to Helsinki, where he will meet Vladimir Putin tomorrow. The President of the European Council, the Polish Donald Tusk (in Brussels renamed "Our Donald") replies: "America and Europe are friends, who say that the opposite only spreads false news".

That both sides of the Atlantic be friends is obvious for a century, but that Trump has decided to treat the Union as an enemy is now just as clear. The President of the United States is committed to dismantling all the organizations and political entities that have governed the world for decades, giving it stability. The sinking of the last G7 in Quebec, the explosions to NATO that also threatened to give up, the declared tariff war to Europe, which has always been a US trading partner, placed at the same level as China (which does not respect the basic rules of the WTO). Russia is a minor enemy, only "in some respects" while China is only "economically" enemy. But be clear, this "does not mean (that the Russians and Chinese, ed) are bad". The Europeans, however, are obviously
