Chicago – an angry mob invaded the streets of a neighborhood of South Side Chicago after the murder of a man by a policeman . There were clashes between protesters and policemen: the budget concerns wounded agents and four protesters arrested. Shortly before, an officer fired on a man "who had the characteristics of an armed person" and who had resisted during a check. The man, injured, died shortly after at the hospital. After the murder, the crowd invaded the streets of the neighborhood shouting insults and pulling bottles against the agents. Someone jumped on a police car, other cars were damaged. At the end of the riots, four people were arrested.

Chicago Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi explained that a weapon was found but did not specify whether the man was armed when he was beaten down. For sure – he added – the victim, who was about thirty, did not open fire. According to some, the shot was an officer, who pressed the trigger five times, reaching the victim's back by escaping. For this reason, the policewoman was quickly removed from the scene, loaded on a police car, while at the time of the tragedy, a hundred people gathered, to the point of being discouraged and throwing stones on the agents.
