Rome, July 26. (askanews) – A 26-year-old man has just been identified as one of the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks in New York, thanks to a DNA test, seventeen years after his death. The New York Forensic Institute (OCME) continues to work on the 19,915 human remains found after September 11, which have not yet been badociated with any of the 2,753 people killed that day. The special unit that operates within the institute has just identified Scott Michael Johnson, financial badyst at the investment bank Keefe, Bruyette and Woods, as the 1,642nd victim of the Attack of the Twin Towers in New York

. 2017 another victim was identified after years of unsuccessful searches. "In 2001, we engaged with families to take steps to identify their loved ones no matter how long we would spend," said Barbara Sampson, head of the Forensic Institute. "This identification is the result of the investment of our team in this ongoing mission," he added.
