Mike Tomlin said that letting Antonio Brown and The Veon Bell leave for two other teams was part of football's activities.
When asked if he was disappointed that the Steelers could not get him to work with two great players, Tomlin said, "Yes, it's life and business."
Tomlin added that the Steelers would go ahead without them and would be fine.
"Our organization has evolved," said Tomlin. "I think that as professionals, they have evolved. We are excited about the wording of our team for '19. We appreciate the contributions they made to us when they were part of us, but the reality is that they are not, so we focus on the guys we work with. "
That's about all Tomlin can say at this point. The Steelers will have to move on without two players who were once their two best offensive playmakers.
