Something stinks at FedEx Field, and it’s not the Washington football team.

A video credited to Instagram’s “tommyob5” account has surfaced on social media, showing a pipe burst during Sunday’s Washington-Chargers game, dumping its content on unhappy fans below. While it is not known exactly what was in the pipe, fans shown in the video appear to believe it was raw sewage.

Another fan can be heard saying, “It’s s — t.”

The Washington football team did not respond or address the incident at FedEx Field, which – built in 1997 – is the 22nd oldest stadium in the NFL. FedEx Field was given a foot of grass and new earth ahead of the 2021 NFL season, its first “complete innovation” since the stadium opened.
