A general warning is that most casting call sites are absolutely fake, and whatever the site on which this image is extracted is clearly one of them. Rest assured, if DC Films is looking for supplements, they have the means to let it know.

The first Suicide team followed a team of supervillains who were recruited by the government for a dangerous dark mission in exchange for reduced sentences. Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) and Jared Leto (The Joker) are part of the group. James Gunn is expected to bring a new interpretation of the supervillain team in his next film. Idris Elba plays a new character, Jai Courtney taking over his role as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman playing Rick Flag again, David Dastmalchian playing Polka-Dot Man, and Viola Davis returning as Amanda Waller. John Cena and Nathan Fillion are in talks for an undisclosed role, with Steve Agee for King Shark.

JGunn's friends The suicide brigade is one of many projects being developed by Warner Bros. and DC. These projects include The Batman, The flash, Birds of prey, Black Adam, Super Girl and New gods.

James Gunn's The suicide brigade will be released in theaters on August 6, 2021. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Nathan Fillion, James Gunn and The suicide brigade as we will learn!
