Jason Momoa looks weird without a beard

Jason Momoa and his beard are peas in a pod. This is PB & J or rum and coke. They are supposed to be together, hooked to each other during these long and soggy Aquaman next pulls. Let's say we were, in a word, amazed when Momoa confronted us with strange vibrations in the valley that slowly emerged when he shaved the scene in a new video.

In a new clip loaded on YouTube titled "Goodbye Drogo … I SHAVED!," The actor proves that clickbait can serve a purpose. The reason he shaves his beard, after all, is to catch our wandering and peripatetic eyes, if only for a second. Why? To help raise awareness of recycling, which, despite our best efforts, remains a very important task, we must do so. While he shaves, he crosses a plastic overflowing desert and encourages the use of aluminum, both reusable and 100% recyclable. Per Momoa (and The Aluminum Association), "75% of all aluminum used to date is still in circulation today."

"There is a change ahead, and that is aluminum," he says in the end. "You have to get rid of your plastic water bottles. Aquaman tries to do his best for my children, for your children, for the whole world. I love you guys."
