Jayson Tatum vests Boston Celtics to win NBA championship this season

Jayson Tatum won the Skills Competition on Saturday night and then made a bold prediction: The Celtics are going to win everything this year.

Speak to ESPN, Tatum did not mince his words.

"We will win the final this year," he said. "On February 16th, Jayson Tatum announced that we will win the final this year."

It will take work. The Cs are currently tied for fourth in the Eastern Conference with the Sixers at 37-21, a match behind the Pacers with 24 games to play. They trail the Raptors in second place with 5.5 games and the Bucks in first place with 6.5 games. Milwaukee (43-14) and Toronto (43-16) have the two best records in the NBA.

The Celtics reached the seventh game of the conference final against the Cavaliers last year before bowing to face LeBron James and Co. Fun well, the C's have very quietly won 12 of their last 15 games, with a quality win over the Raptors, Nets, Thunder and Sixers.
