MacKenzie Bezos announced on Twitter Thursday that Jeff Bezos and her had completed the process of dissolving their marriage, leaving him $ 35.6 billion worth of Amazon shares.

In a separate statement, Jeff Bezos expressed gratitude to his ex-wife.

This announcement clarifies some of the concerns of investors in the days following the couple's announcement of their intent to divorce in order to determine who would have the right to vote at Amazon.
