The animal’s new announcement came three weeks after Witherspoon revealed that her beloved French Bulldog Pepper had died.

“Our pepper died yesterday,” Witherspoon began on October 20. “My God, she was such a faithful and dedicated member of the family. I’m heartbroken, but I’m also deeply grateful for all the love and comfort she has brought to our family. Now she is to dog heaven where all the great pets go.
