Jodie Turner-Smith was the victim of jewelry theft Friday in Cannes, local source says Variety.

A local source tells Variety that Turner-Smith was spending time at the police station to report a jewelry theft, which happened on Friday. Representatives for Turner-Smith and the Cannes police did not immediately respond to Varietyrequest for comments.
The estimated value of the stolen jewelry is several tens of thousands of euros, according to the source. Local publication Nice-Matin reported on the theft on Friday, but did not name the hotel or the victim. The source also noted that Turner-Smith was staying at the Marriott, although details were not confirmed and Marriott did not immediately respond to a request for comment. According to Nice-Matin, there was no break-in of the hotel room door, which opens with a magnetic card, and an investigation is underway.
