John Travolta thanks fans in moving post on first Thanksgiving since Kelly Preston’s death

John Travolta is grateful for the wishes he received from his fans and peers in the months following the death of his wife Kelly Preston earlier this year.

The 66-year-old “Pulp Fiction” star said so in a social media video to her followers on Thursday on what was Travolta’s first Thanksgiving without Preston since she passed away after a fight. two years with breast cancer. She was 57 years old.

Travolta broke the heartbreaking news of Preston’s death in an Instagram post at the time.

“Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered,” he wrote. “I’ll take some time to be there for my children who have lost their mothers, so forgive me in advance if you can’t hear us for a while. But know that I will feel your outpouring of love in them. weeks … and months to come as we heal. “

The “Grease” star also paid tribute to Preston in October on what would have been his 58th birthday.

In the Instagram post, Travolta shared a side-by-side image from his parents’ wedding and an image from the day he and Preston concluded their 1991 nuptials.

A frequent contributor to and co-star of Travolta on “Grease” and “Two of a Kind,” actress and singer Olivia Newton-John, who also has breast cancer, recently told Fox News that Travolta “has become was doing as well as everyone else ”given the tragic loss.

The Anglo-Australian interpreter said she started the Olivia Newton-John Foundation, which is her vehicle for making a real impact in the ongoing fight against cancer, in large part thanks to Preston.
