EXCLUSIVE: After seven years Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Justice, Chicago P.D. Star Jon Seda leaves the famous NBC television series franchise. We also leave Chicago Med Co-stars Colin Donnell and Norma Kuhling. All three leave as regulars of the series. As is always the case in Dick Wolf's television universe, they could come back for appearances as guests. All three Chicago The series have been renewed for next season.

According to sources, distribution gaps stem from creative reasons related to the evolution of the characters' story.

Seda, who plays detective Antonio Dawson, was one of the original stars of Chicago P.D. He began as a recurring on the mothership the Chicago fire before him and Jason Beghe were spun to anchor spin-off Chicago P.D. as the leads. Kuhling appeared for the first time under the name of Dr. Ava Bekker during the season 2 of finale of Chicago Med as recurrent. She went up to a regular series at the start of season 3.
