Chicago P.D.Detective Antonio Dawson will soon be issuing his badge and weapon – and Representative Jon Seda is not very grateful for the time he has spent.
On Saturday, Seda went on social media to confirm his imminent departure of the #OneChicago franchise and pay tribute to his cast and his fans. The actor is ready to go P. D. at the end of his sixth season in progress.
"It's an honor to represent Det. Antonio Dawson in the world #OneChicago, "Seda wrote. "For my #Family distribution, I will always cherish the time and stories we shared. Thank you all, thank you for being the best of fans! We will always have CHICAGO. "
Seda is not the only actor to leave Dick Wolf's trio of Windy City. As announced Friday, Collin Donnell and Norma Kuhling will not be back for Chicago Med Season 5
Seda debuted as Dawson in the flagship show the Chicago fire. He briefly left P. D. when Antonio went to work for the state attorney's office on the unfortunate fallout Chicago Justice a season in 2017. After the cancellation of the show, Antonio joined the intelligence unit on P. D.
In February, NBC issued early renewals for the Chicago fire (for season 8), P. D. (Season 7) and Med (Season 5). The trio is currently airing Wednesdays from 8 pm to 11 pm and the final of their season is scheduled for May 22nd.
