Rachel Bush, wife of Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer, claimed on Sunday that she was harassed by Kansas City Chiefs fans during the AFC 2021 championship game.
Bush, who watched the bills fall into the hands of the Chiefs, 38-24, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, spoke out against the alleged behavior in a series of since-deleted tweets, according to TMZ.
“Those drunk chef fans behind me knowing full well that I’m a woman who tells me it’s straight to me smh yuck,” Bush wrote.
In a separate post, Bush wrote: “I have NEVER engaged with fans but a sacred cow … disrespectful … embarrassing …”
Bush later clarified that “Not all Chiefs fans are horrible,” noting that some were nice.
“For the record as well since I know articles will be written lol – not all chef fans are awful lol – some were so nice! .. just the ones behind me who directly harassed us were,” Bush wrote.
“The rest of their own surrounding fan base was even embarrassed so that’s it lol,” she continued.
Bush then congratulated the 28-year-old Poyer.
“A proud woman tonight. Told me he was gonna give it his all and he did, ” Bush tweeted.
“All year round though. Like how you gonna play all the games, ” she added.
Bush last month berated the Pro Bowl voting process after Poyer did not receive a nod.
The Chiefs will now face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2021 Super Bowl on Sunday, February 7 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla.
