Martell skirt set for the Lost Boys remake

Noah Jupe (“A Quiet Place”, “No Sudden Move”) and Jaeden Martell (“IT”, “Knives Out”) are set to lead the cast of a remake of Joel Schumacher’s 1987 vampire classic “The Lost Boys” at Warner Photos of the brothers.

The original follows two brothers and their widowed mother who move to the run-down California beach town of Santa Carla, terrorized by a gang of vampire bikers.

There are also in the mix a pair of comic book loving brothers who believed themselves to be vampire hunters. Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Dianne Wiest, Edward Herrmann, Corey Feldman and Corey Haim starred in the original which also featured a famous soundtrack.

Randy McKinnon, who works on the “Static Shock” project at HBO Max, will write the new modern shoot while “End of the F-ing World” creator Jonathan Entwistle will direct. Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger will produce.
