Jupiter and his four largest moons will be visible with only a pair of binoculars this month.

In June, the largest planet in the solar system is as close to Earth as possible. It offers both trained observers and novice star observers a tourism treat.

"Jupiter is at its peak this month, rising at dusk and remaining visible all night," explained NASA in a tweet of June 3rd.

"The largest planet in the solar system is a jewel in the naked eye. But that sounds fantastic through binoculars or a small telescope, which will allow you to spot the four largest moons and maybe even catch a glimpse of the clouds in bands around the planet, "adds the tweet.
