BLUFFTON – Myka Aldrich and Makenzie Recker of Ottawa-Glnadorf each scored two goals and Makenna Siefker and Kaelyn Grothause also scored. Grothaus, Recker and Siefker also recorded assists with Ella Okuley and Lily Haselman. Bluffton’s Allison Diller scored the Pirates goal and Reagan Mittendorf was credited with an assist. Titan goaltender Abby Warnecke made four saves and Pirates goaltender Julia Mehaffie made five.

DA – The Ohio Northern volleyball team is ranked No. 14 nationally in the American Volleyball Coaches Association preseason poll on Wednesday.
Polar bears received 820 points in the poll.
Ohio Northern finished the 2020-21 season ranked 19th in the latest AVCA poll.
Trinity (Tex.) Is ranked No.1 with 2,052 points and 37 first-place votes, Colorado College is second with 1969 points and 16 first-place votes, and Calvin (Michigan) is third with 1878 points and two first-place votes.
The Polar Bears finished the 2020-21 season 13-3 overall and finished third in the Ohio Athletic Conference with a score of 13-3.
