Kanye West resurrected in his hometown – with Luck the rapper, no less – and the people of Chicago have not missed the opportunity to come and testify.
Ye celebrated his Sunday service in Chi-Town this week, hosting a large crowd at the Huntington Bank Pavilion on the North Island … and it seemed like a packed house. The room has a capacity of 30,000 people – and it seems they have filled that capacity, then to others.
It seems like it was more of a traditional gig than its usual gatherings – which has been a lot the road a lot lately – but also in some non-traditional ways.

For example, it seems that the scene on which Kanye and Chance played is closer to the ground than your usual concert scene, which has made this Sunday service feel much more intimate and interactive. People also seemed to respect the closeness – there is no mention of anyone rushing on Ye, so it seems that people have kept their distance.
That's not to say that security was not there – it was absolutely. Funny enough, at one point, Kanye asked a guard to get up while he was heading towards the audience up to the stage … telling the guy to "watch this" … then separating from the human sea, if you will.
Very much about the brand, right?

Whatever it is, you have to imagine that Kanye's fans are forever grateful for this car trip until recently, Ye had organized the Sunday service in secret areas to around the. and to attend, it seems that you need a special invitation.
Now, Kanye has introduced his ritual to people … and they seem to like it.
