Katy Perry’s daughter is obsessed with cats.
The “Dark Horse” singer has revealed that her little Daisy – whom she shares with her partner Orlando Bloom – loves cats and she thinks it’s really “wild” because her fans are affectionately known as Katy Cats.
She told Entertainment Tonight: “She talks, but she thinks everything is a cat.
“When a person comes in, they’ll say ‘Hi, gato!’ I don’t know why she’s so fascinated with cats. It’s wild [because] the people who love my music, they are called Katy Cats. She doesn’t know anything about it, she doesn’t care about it all, but for some reason the major word in her life is gato. It’s like fate. “
Meanwhile, Katy had previously admitted that she “had never known unconditional love” before becoming a mother.
The 36-year-old pop star said, “I’ve never really experienced unconditional love. Obviously my mom has that for me, but I didn’t really experience it in first person until I have my child. And that was just a whole new level. I think I see through a child’s eyes – how my life and my art always feels playful – so it’s amazing to be able to relate to kids even in their thirties. And they still want to hang on and find the funniest adult in the room. It’s just the greatest gift in the world. “
The “Roar” singer also revealed that she plays a lot of classics to her daughter.
When asked if Daisy likes music, Katy explained, “Yeah, she likes music, but I’m pretty specific with that.
“We’re on a Stevie Wonder and Bill Withers kick right now. I play a lot of old soul, a lot of Supremes, a lot of ‘shake shake shake Senora’. We’re in a different mood. We went to my gym the other day, and they were playing current pop music, and I was like, “Oh my god, this is your first time hearing current music!”
