Southwestern had little trouble winning their second straight game.

Aidan Kennedy made four touchdowns and ran for another; Jameson Walsh passed the mark of the century and reached the end zone twice; and Cam Lemk and Matt Pannes each had a pair of TD receptions to mark the Class C South Trojans’ 51-0 victory over Chautauqua Lake on Friday night at Charles A Lawson Field.

Kennedy finished the night 10 of 14 for 180 yards, four of the completions going to Lemk for 106 yards; and Walsh amassed 112 yards on just nine carries.

Defensively, the Trojans were led by Paul Hayes (interception) and Dante Hoose (sack) with eight tackles each, Mitch Pike with seven and Kennedy with five. Eddie Gibbon blocked a punt for safety.

Southwestern (2-2, 1-1) returns to action next Friday when they are scheduled to play against Gowanda / Pine Valley.

BLACK KNIGHTS WIN FIRST VICTORY

SILVER CREEK – Aiden Piccolo ran 23 times for 184 and two touchdowns as Silver Creek / Forestville won their season opener 27-14 against Cattaraugus-Little Valley in Class D action on Friday.

The Black Knights (1-3, 1-1) led 7-0 at halftime after Kayden Eggleston’s 10-yard touchdown and Wyatt Golembieski’s kick after kick in the first quarter.

The Timberwolves (1-3, 0-2) took the lead early in the third quarter when Christian Hines caught a 56-yard touchdown pass from Josh Halterman and Halterman’s 2-point run made it 8- 7.

Silver Creek / Forestville took the lead in earnest on Piccolo’s 3-yard touchdown run with 2:57 left in the third quarter to make it 13-8.

Piccolo added a 2-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter to make it 21-8 after Woleben’s 2-point run.

John Visnesky caught a 33-yard touchdown from Halterman with 4:28 left, but the Black Knights sealed the victory on Woleben’s 3-yard touchdown with 1:47 to go.

Halterman completed 10 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns while throwing an interception for the Timberwolves. Gage Furl ran 19 times for 54 yards and Visnesky caught three passes for 72 yards.
