FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) – Officials have said the Salato Wildlife Education Center in Frankfort is reopening to the public.
The center closed last month as the number of coronavirus cases in Kentucky continued to rise. Officials said the facility had closed in an effort to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 to guests and staff.
The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources said in a statement that Salato tickets can be purchased at the door or online starting Tuesday. The statement says people over 5 years old must wear a face mask inside the visitor center, regardless of their immunization status.
