Chloride Exide will be the new title sponsor of the annual Hill Climb following a sponsorship agreement of 4 million shillings. events are organized under the leadership of the Rift Valley Motor Sports Club and will be the highlight of next month's motorsport calendar next to the Mini Clbadic Rally.
ACHIEVES BIGGEST V IESSES
nicknamed – "The Powerlast Hill Climb" – will be held three times beginning with a two-day event on August 4 and 5 at the Aberdare Hills Golf Resort. The following events will be held in September and November
The first leg of the hill climb is underway as the organizers put the finishing touches to the competition with less than a fortnight before the start.
The three kilometer stretch will be graduated to ensure that competitors are able to reach the highest speeds to try to take the fastest time on the highest portion .
The route runs from the bottom of the hill at 1900 meters to the summit at 2200 meters
