Fans of "Big Cat Diary", your (very long) suffering is over. Animal Planet has commissioned a sequel to the 1999 series, TheWrap has learned exclusively, and it is tentatively (and appropriately) titled "Big Cat Legacy."
The original pioneers Jonathan Scott (no, not that Jonathan Scott, who is also interesting under the umbrella of Discovery, Inc. ), Angela Scott and Jackson ole Looseyia will be back in the Marsh Pride – as well as other lions, leopards and cheetahs in Kenya – when "Big Cat Legacy" will be presented in October. "Big Cat Legacy" will document the pride and actual families of big cats from the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya – fighting, cuddling and adorable cubs growing up to adulthood . The official announcement of "Big Cat Legacy" is scheduled for Thursday afternoon at the summer press tour of the Television Critics Association, which is held inside the Beverly Hilton.
