Cineflix Rights Acquired Two Factual Series of British Producer Brown Bob Productions
Inside the Vets (15 x 60 minutes, UKTV) Follows The Veterinary Surgeon and Specialist exotic animals Clive Munns and his dedicated team take care of pets and rescued animals every day.
From the removal of a cancerous tumor from a dog to the treatment of a wounded hedgehog or a huge lizard, Cineflix acquired Great Rail Restorations (5 x 60 minutes, channel 4, pictured), which takes four railroad cars and restores them to their former glory.
World-renowned expert teams each restore a different car from another era spanning a century of train travel, including one of two surviving royal cars used by Queen Victoria in 1887 and a car- Pullman restaurant from 1960, once glamorous. Welcomed by journalist and historian Peter Snow, the audience follows the challenges and triumphs of the restoration while engineer Henry Cole looks at what would have been the train trips for pbadengers of each era.
The acquisition of both series was negotiated by executive Catherine McCormick, Cineflix Rights.
