Real Madrid Transfer News: Neymar presents himself as the heir to Ronaldo wishing him good luck in Italy

Neymar has stated that he will not leave Paris Saint-Germain to become the successor of Cristiano Ronaldo at Real. Madrid, as he wished good luck to the striker at Juventus.

The Brazilian star was constantly linked to a transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu despite a world record transfer to France less than 12 months ago.

These rumors have only amplified since Ronaldo's sensational start in Serie A, with him and his teammate PSG's Kylian Mbappe as possible heirs to the record striker.

But Neymar claimed Saturday that he was "100% remaining" at the Parc des Princes, and hopes his old enemy will succeed in Italy.

"I wish him good luck and all the best in this new phase [in his career]," he told reporters from Praia Grande in Sao Paulo, where he organized and participated in a neighborhood football tournament to help youth at risk.

The attacker was widely criticized for his conduct during the World Cup, facing accusations that he would have fallen too easily to the ground.

But he insisted that jibes had no effect on him.

"I'm used to, I know what they say about me, and I know what to do with it," he said.

"But those who come a little closer to me know all the difficulties that Neymar involves."

Neymar, who missed the last three months of the PSG season with a metatarsal injury, was out for the first-ever Champions Cup World Cup on Saturday.
