In 2005, LG hosted leaders in 2019 with the goal of strengthening the role of portfolio companies, such as business portfolio development and human resource development. LG appointed CEO Hong Bong-sik as director of management strategy. Hong will be responsible for the LG Group's business portfolio strategy as responsible for the management strategy of the holding company.
