Mayor Dae-kwon Kwon Young-jin, who is accused of violating the electoral law , witnessed the charge yesterday and was the subject of an investigation. It has only been two months since the Daegu Election Commission accused Kwon. That day, Kwon's office arrived about 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled time of attendance at 2:00 pm. Kwon said, "I apologize for the concern of the citizens before entering the district attorney Daegu's office." In response to the question of whether or not to accept the charge, he said, "I will be well investigated." Mayor Kwon returned home after three and a half hours of investigation.

The prosecution accused Kwon of going to the future office of the candidates in the same party, and Kwon said that he did not know if that violated the electoral law. On May 5, the former mayor of Kwon, mayor of Kwangju, visited Kwangju City, where he was a member of the local government and was promoted in support of his candidates and Joo. I have been accused of doing so. On April 22, 2010, he was reportedly appealed to voters at the Dongguan Elementary School Alumni Association Sports Day in Daegu. According to the Law on Official Elections, local governors are not allowed to campaign, to visit election offices or to promote specific political parties or the achievements of candidates.

In the local legal system, it is impossible to claim a formal trial, and Kwon is likely to argue that he did not know about his actions. Daegu, a criminal lawyer, said, "It seems hard to be excused if the Kwon market explanations are mere" lawsuits "of the law." Even if you insist on an error to ban or submit, "If you can not prove that you have faithfully implemented your own conduct in the correct manner, you may be rejected."
