The two parties will participate in a joint investigation on the North Korean railway line for a total of 18 days as of today (May 30).
South and North will jointly study the Gyeongui Line between Kaesong and Sinuiju for about 400 km by next month, and the Donghae Line between Kumgangsan and the Tuman River for about 800 km between August 8 and 17.
It was only ten years ago that the five – week freight train to Dorasan Station on the south side and to Panmun Railway Station on the north side stopped on November 28, 2008.
A farewell ceremony to see the trains takes place at Dorasan Station, the southernmost point of Kyunggi-do, at 8:10 am.
