SK Telecom announced on March 6 that it has shut down the country's largest smartphone hacker, in cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Police.

When the crime was reported, SK Telecom signed a commercial agreement with the Seoul Metropolitan Police last September and developed a real-time detection system to determine if a smartphone is replicated in real time. The "real-time detection system" is a technology that identifies whether an illegal copy is made or not in real time by linking and badyzing about 5 million smartphone usage model data that occur each month.

SK Telecom has been providing data on suspicious smartphone calls to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Department twice a month since September of last year.
