"The economy of tomorrow" – Reduce the tax on oil by 15% … Gasoline up to 123 won · Diesel 87 yen

[이데일리 김성훈 기자] Tomorrow (June 6), the government will reduce the petroleum tax by 15% by May 6 to reduce the burden on small self-employed workers, small and medium-sized businesses and ordinary citizens who are victims of rising oil prices and weakness of domestic demand.

Petroleum refineries will supply gasoline, diesel and LPG butane at petrol stations at a price 15% lower than the petroleum tax from shipments at midnight to May 6, at 11:59:59 .

The rate of reduction of the petroleum tax, which takes place in 10 years, is the highest ever recorded. The government cut gasoline, diesel and LPG butane for 10 months from 10 March 2008 to 31 December 2008, a year after the global financial crisis. The government plans to reduce the tax burden by about 2 trillion won during the oil tax reduction period.

If the reduction in the tax rate is reflected in the price of 100%, the gasoline will fall by 7.2% from 1690 won per liter the last week of October and the diesel will drop by 5, 8% from 1,495 to 1408 won per liter.
