Tiger Woods (USA), who had a resurrection season, was knocked out on the first day of his tournament.

Patrick Reid and Patrick Cantley (7 under 65) were in the lead.

Henrik Stenson (Sweden) and Dustin Johnson (USA) took third place with 4 under 68 years old.

Justin Rose (England), who was able to regain his first place in the tournament after missing world No. 1 Brooks Junka (USA), was seventh (2 under par 70).
