Korra from Avatar seen in deleted art from Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl

Nickelodeon broke the internet yesterday with the revelation of Nickelodeon Star Brawl, a To break-like a fighting game featuring faces from the past and present from the cartoon channel. The hype is so high for this game that people are looking for information everywhere, like a placeholder piece of art that can actually reveal a much-requested Nickelodeon character with a penchant for elemental hits.

It features the logo, a solid background and some basic silhouettes for confirmed inclusions in the list like SpongeBob Squarepants, Ren and Stimpy‘s Powder Toast Man, and Aaahh !!! Real monsters‘Obline. But, as the Twitter user first noticed The Blitzy, it appears that a number of unannounced fighters are lurking in the shadows, including Avatar: The Last Airbenderis Korra.

Korra has made several appearances in video games in the past, most recently in 2020 Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix. His show also received two solo adaptations (a beat-em-up developed by PlatinumGames and a Nintendo 3DS strategy game, both released in 2014) and is even available as a skin in mythology-based MOBA Hit.

Aside from Korra, characters like Ren, Stimpy, and CatDog can also be clearly spotted among the mass of bodies. Some people have also argued that Aang, another Avatar protagonist, is somewhere in there too. I have a hard time distinguishing it, but it is certainly possible. The artwork was previously available on the website of the US chain of stores Target before being replaced by a version without a silhouette between yesterday afternoon and now. The images still exist on Target’s servers, so Kotaku was able to get them.

And this is where the power to Nickelodeon Star Brawl. Many of us who grew up watching these cartoons would love to see our favorites come into the game. This desire is further amplified by the fact that, despite its licensed nature, the Platform Hunter could in fact be. good. Development is handled in part by Ludosity, a studio previously known to create its own To break-like, slap the city. The game is going to have cancel network code, to cry bitterly. It looks like more than another cheap cross cash grab.
