Striker Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers left his mark at the 2019 Rising Stars Challenge. Kuzma scored 35 points on 15 shots on 27 field shots, helping the US team beat the World Cup by team 161-144.
His teammate Jayson Tatum added 30 points (including six scored on 3 points) and nine rebounds to the winning effort.
His compatriot Trae Young, his teammate, was dazzled by several nutmegs in the night. he finished with a double double of 25 points and 10 assists.
Team World was led by Ben Simmons' 28 points and Lauri Markkanen's 21 points.
Possible rookie of the year Luka Doncic spent most of the evening with his teammates, scoring 13 points and amassing nine assists.
