National Counties Association President Larry Johnson recently appointed Lake County Recorder Becky Lynch to the NACo Veterans and Military Services Committee.

Johnson’s presidential initiative will highlight these areas: technology, health, preparedness, infrastructure, vulnerable populations and economic opportunities, according to a press release.

Lynch works closely with Lake County Veterans Services and seeks to educate veterans and their families about the resources available to them by contacting the Bureau of Veterans Services at 440-350-2904.

The Lake County Recorder also offers the Ohio State Veterans ID Card Program.

“As a Lake County Recorder, we are offering our veterans a way to preserve their DD214 discharge documents, as well as provide convenient state ID with this excellent program,” Lynch said in the statement. “We are grateful for all of the veterans’ programs and efforts at the local, state and national levels.”
